I have to admit to being one of Tomkins critics in the past but he has improved by leaps and bounds
I much prefer him at RB to Jenkinson, where he has hardly put a foot wrong
His positional sense seems a lot better since Bilic arrived
Big Ginge is still playing well and we'd probably get a good price for him if he decided to move on for more 1st team football, which would then leave us short
Henry remains untried at this level
So to sum up, if anyone should be sold it should be Collins. Keep Tomkins, even if we sign another CB

Stones
Smalling
Cahill
Tomkins
In that order.
Besides we don't need to sell, with all the money available next year. He's an important first team player.

However just because one buy is great value and works out doesn't mean the next one would, in particular in January.
Lets not forget we got knocked back in our efforts for a left sided defender twice because the standard of player we wanted was beyond our price range.

Well I like Tomkins anyway. Wouldn't want to see him leave but at the same time I don't think he's worth anywhere near the £15-25million suggested on here.
And considering Advocaat said they didn't have enough money to buy the quality he wanted I doubt they will be spending over £10 million on him.
So I doubt this would would even happen at all.
